Self-Storage Lockers at Kaneohe Bay
A convenient and inexpensive storage alternative has been available for MCBH families since April of 2005.
The new Self-Storage Lockers at Kaneohe Bay now meet the storage needs of Marines, Sailors and their families. The lockers will come in various sizes to accommodate items of all shapes and sizes.
The facility, located at the intersection of Reed and Mokapu Roads, consists of 264 lockers as small as 5x5x5 and as large as 10x15x10. It has 24-hour video surveillance and is accessible via a secured gate that can only be opened with a FOB or keypad code. Some units also feature air conditioning, perfect for those items requiring protection from the elements.
Best of all, the Self-Storage Lockers are conveniently priced 25 percent lower than their nearest competitor.
All users will be required to leave a deposit equivalent to the first and last month’s rent of their unit via credit card. Rental rates are dependant on the size of the locker being rented and are payable month to month. Renters will only have to provide their own lock and plenty of “stuff” with which to fill in their unit.
Demand for the “Lockers” has been so great, that advance reservations are recommended. This is the perfect alternative for deploying Marines looking for a place in which to store their belongings.
