Joint Employment Management System (JEMS)

JEMS provides a computerized local job search for the island of Oahu. This job bank is available to the military community affiliated with the Marine Corps Base Hawaii and Marine Forces Pacific. Click the link below to enter web site. http://www.jemsjobs.com

The website allows for self-registration and once the FMEAP counselor has reviewed the member's eligibility, access will be approved or denied.

In addition to providing local employment opportunities through the JEMS job bank, FMEAP coordinates and hosts local job fairs and federal agency information briefs.

Career/Job/Resume Counseling

TAP counselors assist servicemembers in all areas of transition. One-on-one counseling, instruction, and assistance is available as needed. However, one-on-one counseling does not satisfy the requirement for pre-separation counseling or attendance at the TAP Workshop.

Resume Software allows for the preparation and laser-quality print of resumes on resume paper. Computer-generated resumes are high-quality, professional documents ready for individuals to submit. It is strongly recommended that members complete these job search documents prior to leaving the military, since resumes prepared in the civilian community can be extremely costly.

Resume Workshop

For many job seekers, preparing a resume is the first critical step in the job search process. Learn to prepare a resume that will make a positive impression on prospective employers. Issues discussed include how to put your education, experience, and background together to make the resume work for you.
