Operation Enduring Freedom

In a continued effort to support our troops and their families, Marine & Family Services has expanded the services offered to the active duty Marines and Sailors who are working in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Respite child care is being offered to families with an active duty member who is deployed in the support of Operation Enduring Freedom or have incurred additional responsibilities and work hours due to OEF. The free respite child care is offered in selected Family Child Care homes on base and is limited to five hours per week per child.

These include, but are not limited to, New Parent Support Program, Counseling Services, the Key Volunteer Network via the Key Volunteer Coordinator, and Chaplains. MCCS Exceptional Family Member Program Survey

A family member with special needs warrants a certain lifestyle, sacrifice and rewards. The professional staff at the MCCS Exceptional Family Member Program is dedicated to ensure that all Marine and Navy families who have a special need are taken care of and given the necessary resources. The EFMP can not accomplish this task alone. We need your help. We need your input in order to create a program that incorporates the real issues of concern. No one can help us achieve this better than those who endure the lifestyle.

Please take a few moments to fill out our Special Needs Survey. All surveys are kept anonymous. You can download this survey as it is in a PDF format. You may fill in the answers and mail it in, or drop it off at the Marine & Family Services Bldg. (216), or you can write your answers in a word document and then email them to EFMP Coordinator, Edgar Josiah. (Email address is found on the actual survey). Thank you for taking the time to help us help you.
